How do reminders work?
When you log a trial with a renewal date, we send you reminders at 3 days, 1 day, and day-of before the trial converts to paid. You choose whether to cancel or keep the subscription.
What happens when a trial expires?
We notify you before the trial ends. If you choose to cancel, follow the step-by-step cancellation runbook for that service. If you want to keep it, mark it as a keeper and we stop reminding you.
Can I track trials for other people?
Yes. Each trial entry includes an "account owner" field. Useful for families, teams, or agencies managing trials across multiple accounts.
Credits & billing
What are credits?
Credits are a shared currency across 14+ portfolio products. Buy credits once on RiskFreeTrial and spend them on AI-powered features across any product in the network — from smart cancellation advice to fleet diagnostics to SEO audits.
Do credits work on other sites?
Yes. Credits purchased here work across all portfolio products. One balance, many tools. Your credit balance follows your account, not the domain.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay / Google Pay through Stripe. All payments are processed securely — we never see or store your card details.
Can I get a refund on credits?
Unused credits can be refunded within 30 days of purchase. Visit the refund page for details on the process.

How do I add risk-free trials to my AI product?
If you're on Cloudflare Workers, add a single service binding to your wrangler config. Our PortfolioBillingService handles checkout, credits, and refund flows. No Stripe integration needed on your end.
What does the feedback-for-refund exchange look like?
When a customer clicks "Request Refund", they see a short structured feedback form: what they tried, what didn't work, and what would bring them back. Once submitted, the refund processes instantly. You get the feedback in your dashboard.
What does it cost?
The platform takes a small percentage of successful transactions. Refunds are free — you only pay when customers convert. Contact us for volume pricing.
For developers
Can I use the APIs for my own product?
Yes. The PortfolioBillingService and PortfolioAIService are available to Cloudflare Workers via service bindings. Contact us about adding your domain to the portfolio.
What AI models are available through PortfolioAIService?
OpenAI chat completions, Responses API, and audio transcription are available. We also support Grok models. All proxied securely — your Worker never needs an API key.
What data do you store?
Trial metadata (service name, dates, account owner), credit balances, and transaction history. We use Cloudflare D1 for structured data and KV for sessions. We never store payment card details — that's handled entirely by Stripe.
